NOT AT MY HOME II

NOT AT MY HOME II

Let their tears rain at the markets,
Their rage at the pens,
But, not at my home
For they strive to fill their pockets
With bloods flowing from the dens.

Let their tears rain at the shrines,
Their sorrows at the fields,
But, not at my home
For their tears are as salty as brines
Their labours as deserts without yields.

Let their tears rain at the forests.
Their woes at the squares,
But, not at my home
For they have awakened the tempests
And bring the cultures out of squares.

Let their tears rain at the deserts,
Their cries at the lakes,
But, not at my home
For they’ve deformed nature with inserts
And drain blood to bake cakes.
